This Privacy Policy describes the types of information we may collect from you or that you may provide when you download, access, or use UnicornOCR or UnicornOCR Pro (the "Application") and our practices for collecting, using, maintaining, protecting, and disclosing that information.

2. INFORMATION WE COLLECT
2.1 Information You Provide to Us
The Application is designed to respect your privacy by processing data locally on your device. We collect very limited personal information:
- Contact Information: If you contact us for support or feedback, we may collect your email address and any other information you provide in your communication.
- Payment Information: We do not directly collect payment information. All payments for UnicornOCR Pro are processed through the Microsoft Store, which is subject to Microsoft's own privacy policy and terms of service.
2.2 Information Collected Automatically
The Application currently does not automatically collect any usage data, analytics, or tracking information. All processing of screenshots, images, and text extraction occurs locally on your device and is not transmitted to us or any third parties.
In the future, we may implement Plausible Analytics on our website to help us understand how users interact with our website. Plausible Analytics is a privacy-friendly analytics tool that does not use cookies and does not collect personal information.
2.3 Information Not Collected
We want to be clear about what we do NOT collect:
- We do not access, collect, or store the screenshots you capture
- We do not access, collect, or store the text extracted through OCR
- We do not track your clipboard usage
- We do not collect device identifiers or IP addresses
- We do not use cookies in the Application

9. DO NOT TRACK SIGNALS
Some web browsers incorporate a "Do Not Track" feature that signals to websites you visit that you do not want to have your online activity tracked. Because the Application processes all data locally and does not track your activities across third-party websites, there is no need for us to respond to Do Not Track signals.
10. COOKIES AND SIMILAR TECHNOLOGIES
10.1 Current Use of Cookies
The Application itself does not use cookies or similar tracking technologies as it operates locally on your device. Our website currently does not use cookies or tracking technologies.
10.2 Future Implementation of Analytics
We plan to implement Plausible Analytics (https://plausible.io) on our website in the near future. Plausible Analytics is a privacy-friendly analytics solution that:
- Does not use cookies
- Does not collect personal data
- Does not track users across websites
- Is compliant with GDPR, CCPA, and PECR regulations
Should we implement any other tracking technologies or cookies in the future, we will update this Privacy Policy to reflect those changes.

The Application may contain links to third-party websites and services. This Privacy Policy applies only to the Application and our website. If you click on a link to a third-party website or service, please be aware that we do not control third-party websites or services, and this Privacy Policy does not apply to those websites or services. 12. MICROSOFT STORE
The Application is distributed through the Microsoft Store. When you download the Application or make a purchase, Microsoft may collect information from you. We do not control Microsoft's data practices, and their collection and use of your information is governed by Microsoft's privacy policy, which we encourage you to review.
13. CHANGES TO OUR PRIVACY POLICY
We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes to how we treat our users' personal information, we will post the new Privacy Policy on this page and, if you have provided us with your email address, we will notify you by email.
