UnicornOCR is an application that runs in the system tray. For the best experience, ensure that all tray icons are visible or that it is removed from the main tray icon group.

Unicorn facilitates the following types of captures:

• OCR (Primary Mouse Button)
  
  Left-click the tray icon, then click and drag with your primary mouse button over any screen area. Text in that region is recognized and copied to the clipboard. (Pro version also saves text for retrieval from the right-click menu.)
  
  


• Screenshot (Secondary Mouse Button)
  
  Left-click the tray icon, then click and drag with your secondary mouse button over any screen area. An image of that region is copied to the clipboard. (Pro version also saves images for retrieval from the right-click menu.)
  
  


• Full-Screen Screenshot (Hotkey: CTRL+SHIFT+ALT+S)
  
  Press the hotkey to capture the entire screen of whichever monitor the mouse is on. The resulting image is copied to the clipboard. (Pro version also saves the screenshot.)
  
  


• Full-Screen OCR (Hotkey: CTRL+SHIFT+ALT+A)
  
  Press the hotkey to run OCR on the entire screen of whichever monitor the mouse is on. The recognized text is copied to the clipboard. (Pro version also saves the text.)
